Given the various reports of *cough*ahem* "election irregularities" associated with Republicans during major elections, I found this funny as hell:

House Republicans are taking a mulligan on the first ballot for Majority Leader. The first count showed more votes cast than Republicans present at the Conference meeting.

I'll betcha Al Gore (not to mention the rest of the world) wishes he had a mulligan for the Florida 2000 results...

(Although, putting it in the context with the 2000 elections does temper the humor a bit ...)

I just figure the Republicans have gotten so used to jiggling elections that they're now doing it on automatic -- if there's a vote going on, they have to rig it...
