Fun time-waster of the day

Here's a fun 'n free little Flash game you can play from your web browser: Stick Remover.

The instructions are in Japanese, so for those of you who don't read Japanese, here's a quick summary:

  • The object of the game is to keep the yellow star above the red line.
  • Click on sticks to remove them. You get one point for each stick removed.
  • Be careful not to remove sticks that will cause the structure to collapse (and thus make the star dip below the line).
  • If the star drops below the line, you lose a "chance". You get five chances in all.
  • When you want to go to the next level, click on the "Next" bubble in the upper-right corner.
  • The game ends when you finish the fifth level or you lose all of your chances.

It's simple, it's fun, and it requires a surprisingly decent amount of strategy (reminds me a bit of KerPlunk!). I managed around 63 points before losing my five chances...

Give it a try!
