Attack of the spambots

For whoever gives a toot, this site will no longer automatically activate new users who register on this site. Instead, user registration requests will have to be okayed by me before the accounts are activated.

This is needed to fight off some spammers who have been flooding the site with bogus accounts, in order to promote their Nigerian hair-restorative pornographic make-money-fast herbal suppliments. Sorry for the inconvenience, but -- as with a lot of other things in life -- it just takes a few pooters to spoil things for everyone else.
