I swear, nowadays there's little difference between writing political comedy and dictating the news:

McCain Visits Baghdad, Claims Americans Not Getting Whole Picture

Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - Presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., declared that the capital of Iraq was safer than most Americans realized. He was among a group of U.S. lawmakers who visited a market in Baghdad on Sunday. The group wore bullet proof vests and traveled in a heavily armored convoy with guards.
