The ghost* of Jack Tramiel

(This one's for the video-game nerds out there. Non-nerds need not apply.)

So apparently Sony just launched the (tanking horribly) PlayStation 3 video-game system in Korea the other day.

As an old-school video-gaming geek, this photo caught my eye:

Hmmmm... Ragged, blood-red letters on a black background... Where have I seen that before?

Oh, yeah!

I can't help it, I still have my old Atari chops lying around.

And I'll be diplomatic and avoid the obvious parallels between Jack Tramiel's Atari Corp. getting 86'd with the Jaguar and Sony's ongoing woes with the PlayStation 3...

P.S. As far as I know, Jack Tramiel isn't dead yet. But "The eventual ghost of Jack Tramiel" doesn't quite work as well for a title...
