It's already know that the Bush apologists aren't willing to risk their own lives to fight George's Damn Fool Iraq Misadventure™, but they also can't put their money where their mouths are, either.
According to The Guardian (by way of Shakespeare's Sister), the Bush Administration's pleas for public donations to fight the Iraq war raised a measly $600. As The Observer observes, in their dry British way, that's just slightly over the cost of two iPods (and we don't mean the low-end Shuffles, either).
Admittedly, a lot of the public's funds have probably gone into donations for hurricane relief, but considering how wealthy Bush's biggest supporters are, this miserliness deserves nothing but a schadenfreude-infused giggle...
