EXT. VIEW
The Deception base, hidden somewhere on the ocean floor.
CUT TO
BASE INTERIOR
MEGATRON and STARSCREAM are walking down a CORRIDOR. As they pass an
open doorway, Megatron glances inside.
MEGATRON: Wha--?
CUT TO
DATA SURVEY ROOM
SKYWARP, RAMJET, and DIRGE are in the room, huddled in a circle. They
rise at the sound of Megatron's voice, revealing FRENZY, sitting in a
chair and staring mindlessly into space.
MEGATRON: What is going on here?!
RAMJET: We don't know, Megatron!
SKYWARP: I was coming down to start my shift, and I found him
just sitting there like that.
FRENZY: All your base are belong to us.
MEGATRON: What was that?
DIRGE: Beats me.
THRUST: We don't know what it means either.
FRENZY: Someone set us up the bomb.
SKYWARP: That's all he's been doing, just sitting there and
babbling nonsense.
FRENZY: Take off every 'ZIG'.
MEGATRON: Starscream!
STARSCREAM: You bellowed, mighty Megatron?
MEGATRON: What do you make of this?
FRENZY: We get signal.
Starscream leans down and studies Frenzy's face.
FRENZY: You have no chance to survive make your time.
DIRGE: Maybe he's got too much salt water in his vocal
circuits.
FRENZY: For great justice.
STARSCREAM: Hmmmm. He seems to be infected with a stupidity virus.
MEGATRON: A STUPIDITY virus?
STARSCREAM (condescendingly): I'm referring to a vector-based meme
transmitter, carried through conventional information-
sharing methods, normally used to exchange ideas and
concepts. However, if the concept is exceedingly
meaningless, there is the risk of neurosynaptic over--
MEGATRON: Spare me the technobabble! Can you cure him?
FRENZY: Ha ha ha ha...
STARSCREAM: Let me try something--
Starscream picks up Frenzy in his arms, pauses for a moment, then
suddenly RAMS him head-first into a bulkhead.
MEGATRON: You call THAT a cure?
RAMJET: Sounds good to me.
FRENZY: You are on the way to destruction.
STARSCREAM: Oh, dear ... It's worse than I thought.
SKYWARP: What should we do?
Starscream grabs a spool of wiring and begins to tie Frenzy to the
chair.
STARSCREAM: Everyone out of the room -- I'm going to expose him to
something even DUMBER and hope that cures him.
FRENZY: What happen?
MEGATRON: Everyone out! I don't know what Starscream has planned,
but if it's even dumber than this ... this GIBBERISH, I
don't want anyone else exposed to it.
The other Decepticons quickly leave the room. Starscream finishes
tying Frenzy to the chair, then positions him in front of the screen.
STARSCREAM (mutters): You pathetic fool ... the cure is worse than
the disease. I don't envy you at all.
FRENZY: Main screen turn on.
Starscream taps a control on the display screen, then quickly leaves.
The door hisses shut, leaving Frenzy alone in the room.
FRENZY: All your base are belong to us.
CLOSE IN
on the DISPLAY SCREEN. As the image clears, it reveals a large logo:

The Worldwide Mosh Pit of Transformers Fandom!
HOLD for several seconds, as the theme music plays to its climax.
Then
SLOW CROSSFADE TO
a large indoor auditorium/theater, location unspecified. The seats
are filled with a combination of enthusiastic TransFans and confused
N*Sync groupies. The decor is rather conservative, with faint gold
trim surrounding a hardwood stage backed by a red curtain. The only
item on the stage is a crystaline podium in the center. Spotlights
illuminate the stage, but there are no lasers, strobes, or other
"flashy" effects.
As the music winds down, two figures appear from STAGE RIGHT. They
are RATTRAP (Transmetal form, robot mode) and the DIAGNOSTIC DRONE
from Beast Machines. The two approach the center podium and speak--
RATTRAP: Geez, what happened to the decor?
DRONE: I see nothing wrong with this venue.
RATTRAP: Yeah, but you're happy with anything -- lemme guess, we
took a budget hit this year, eh?
DRONE: I am unaware of any budget problems with this year's
production.
RATTRAP: Last to know, eh? Eh, at least Rob's got the good sense
ta have us back as hosts this year! And we get ta do the
WHOLE show, even!
DRONE: I'm sure that was enough incentive for you.
RATTRAP: You betcha!
The curtains part, revealing a GIANT DISPLAY SCREEN behind the hosts.
DRONE: *Ahem* Well, for those folks in the audience who don't
know us, I am Megatron's Diagnostic Drone, from the "Beast
Machines" television series.
RATTRAP: An' I'm Rattrap, galaxy-reknown Maximal Hero(tm), from the
ol' "Beast Wars" teevee show.
DRONE: "Beast Wars" wasn't THAT old.
RATTRAP: Hey, it's been three years -- that's FOREVER in Hollywood!
DRONE: Point taken. So may I ask why you are appearing in your
Transmetal 2 form, instead of your newer "Beast Machines"
design?
RATTRAP: Eh, Enzo needed his face tonight.
-----------------------------
RATTRAP: So, how many folks voted in the Trannies this year, anyway?
DRONE: A very good question.
[Pause.]
RATTRAP: WELL???
DRONE: Ah, my apologies; I didn't realize you were waiting for an
answer.
RATTRAP: Is it too late ta replace you with one of 'em femmes?
DRONE: Much too late, I assure you.
RATTRAP: @^%$.
DRONE: In any event, we received ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-NINE
voters for the 2000 Trannies, an all-time high.
RATTRAP: Woo-hoo. Just six more folks than last year's.
DRONE: I was trying not to draw attention to that.
RATTRAP: Well, on the bright side, at least Rob managed to count
all the ballots without his brain explodin' or somesuch.
DRONE: Quite. In any event, the voters participating in this
year's Trannies are:

RATTRAP: So what you're sayin' is that here's 179 folks who get
all excited about answerin' a bunch'a questions like
whether or not Star Saber is cooler than God Fire Convoy
or whatever?
DRONE: That's ONE way of wording it...
-----------------------------
RATTRAP: Opening skit, check. Greetings, check. List o' voters,
check. Well, I think we're done here.
DRONE: A rather abbreviated introduction, but technically
complete.
RATTRAP: Hey, the sooner we get started, the sooner we're done. An'
the sooner we're done, the sooner I can go an' greet all o'
my ADORING fans...!
DRONE: It's so good to hear you have the fans' best interests at
heart.
[Cut to commercials]
======================================================================
PART I: CHARACTERS
[Curtains part, lights rise.]
RATTRAP: Welcome back, folks! Let's get the show going, eh?
DRONE: I concur completely. We will now begin our presentations
with the character-based awards. These are the awards
which recognize the appeal and charisma of our favorite
Transformers characters -- the "inner robot," as it were.
RATTRAP: Aw, don't you start gettin' transcendental! I got enough
of that from monkey-bot already!
DRONE: I assue you, I have no intention of meditating upon the
nature of my navel.
RATTRAP: Well, good, 'cuz I don't think you've got one...

Optimus Prime - To vote otherwise would be to deny the position he has
held in Transfandom for decades. To vote for any other would be to
ignore his ultimate sacrifice time and again. He was the First of the
Best, of the Few and the Proud ... aah, just vote for him, dammit.
--Aaron Hong, Red Dragon AuraThunder Ranger
Tigatron, Rattrap, Waspinator. What can I say? Beast Wars had
actually developed characters!
--Duo Maxwell
Rodimus and Magnus... Am I *asking* for a beating?
--The Kamikaze Gadfly
Punch/Counterpunch is there because I'm obsessed with him.
--Joona I Palaste
Swindle. What an awesome character. Certainly more interesting that
that Cardboard cut out who wins every year, ol What's his name. I
mean, do people actually get INTERESTED in him?

RATTRAP: Yeah, well, whaddaya expect? Everyone gonna start votin'

DRONE: It depends -- how are subscription sales to Con-Quest
doing this year?

34 Dinobot (Beast Wars)
40 Optimus Prime (orig.)

Starscream is great. The light of his greatness shines upon us all and
makes all other characters grovel in front of him. In short-he rules
all, now and forever until the end of time.
--Cecilia "Windchaser" Matz
Red Alert. Paranoid people give flavor to life
--Bluestreak7
Any Powerdasher?
--Dirge
Speedbreaker (I know his patch of sub-space is loaded with porn)
--Victory Leo
I'd say Nightscream, but that'd get my ass handed to me. So, I'll give
a real answer and say BW Rampage.
--OptimalOptimus
[And from the "All of the above" crowd:]
Any Autobots or Decepticons
--Barb "Kynight" Brewer
Hmm, how about all of the cartoon characters ever introduced between
the Movie and now. You know, the ones that actually got
*personalities*. :)
--DarkClaw
All of them. You can't have good characters without bad ones to
contrast them with.
--Anthony "Tonyfitz" Brucale
Ahhhhhhh so many.... tell you what, just put down a point for each
character, it'll save me the trouble of typing them out, and you the
trouble of reading through my list ;)
--DreadWing
...and just to mess with ATT further, Wheelie, Daniel Witwicky, and
the Zone bunny.
--Picard42
DRONE: Now this is more interesting.
RATTRAP: No kidding, ball-buddy. Optimus and Starscream,
head-to-head.
DRONE: Figuratively, anyway.
RATTRAP: And the two Megatrons got separated by just ONE point --
I KNOW that's gonna cheese off some people!
DRONE: Fortunately, my lack of humor circuits prevent me from
being hurt by that pun...

Rack 'n Ruin. Any character that you look at for hours and still say

--CoolSlider
Gomya, the giant space seal from episode 3 of BW Neo ("The Burning
Heart in Below Freezing"). Opus' worst fears have come true: "It's a
HUMONGOUS WALRUS...a space walrus, with photon flippers!" He had
prehensile hair. He wore World War I-era aviator goggles. He turned
his planet into a giant snowball by blasting it with Angolmois energy
from his butt. Entertainment-value galore.

--Prowl Pants
Cement Head - What was his mother thinking!!!
--Seawave
I'm sorry, but Blastcharge sounds like something you'd get after
eating wild bean vines. Windbreaker is a classic, and "Tankor" reminds
me too much of a certain phantom chicken whose weapons have no effect
on a certain space prince.
--Scarab
Gildo sounds too much like..um..something else... :)
--Retrax
Rachel (Animorphs). As a general rule, there should never be a
Transformer named Rachel. Especially one that turns into a male lion!
--Srini Varanasi
Stryka. Not a name that describes the character's function, alt mode,
or personality. Just a "kewl!" misspelling of "striker." Ladies and
gentlemen, we've hit a new low.
--Avias
"Motormaster" has a nice ring to it. "Missile Master" sounds like a
quartermaster at the armory with delusions of grandeur.
--Robert Powers
Aw.. only three spaces? ;)
--Goldimus Prime
DRONE: I think it is too early for a "Low Road" joke.
RATTRAP: Wouldn't even THINK of it...

Blackarachnia, come on, do you even have to ask?
Ummmm. No.
I dunno. I'd say Antagony, but then she would spike a venom-laced
stinger through my brain.
I think (!) is right.
Fireworks (from Transformers: 2005 MUSH).....That, my friends, is
a *woman*.
Rob, could you PLEASE bend the rules so Asuka Langley counts as a
Transformers character? ::puppy dog eyes::
Junko! For once she could have some GOOD luck! ;)
You know, this question just never stops being sick.
Depth Charge is MINE, and YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM.
No thanks. I love technology, but not *that* much.
Airazor! Whoaaaaaaa momma! Babe Factor 10, Cap'n! Airazor,
BABE-IMIZE!!
Don't take this the wrong way but this question is sick. Sick sick
sick sick sick!
Blackarachnia, just to piss off Doug Kern! (Hi Doug! :) )
Y'know, if I were 20 feet tall, went "CLANG!" whenever I enganged in
any kind of physical activity, and didn't have to compete with 150-odd
others to get in the good graces of 4 or 5 possible partners, that
might work for me.
G1 Prowl. He's dead sexy. Just look at how well-built he is.
Oh no, you'll not catch me in this!!!!
Want to be? I'm "creatively using" Scattershot as I type this.
...Are you serious?
Carly. Except technically, she was jail bait.
I don't think so.
Stryka. I like my women BIG with a deep voice.
Anyone who answers 'Strika' is a very bizarre person, and frightens me
a bit, too...
One of the break dancing girls who talked to Raoul's friends in
"Auto-Bop"
EWWWW!!! They're big robots... How would that prong go into that
port???
[And from the ever-popular "naked lust" drawer:]
Well, I should say that, as a fragile human female, I choose "None"
because I don't fancy being squished at an inopportune moment. :)
But if I was a TF...? Eh heh. PROWL!!!!!!! And yes, you can use my
name, Rob. After all, anyone who reads ATT and/or visits my site
already knows this... :)
--Nightwind
Soriza, from the Headmasters comics. An unorthodox answer, but...
heh, WOW. #^.^# I get all "Speed Breaky" thinking about her.
--Kate Christoffel
This faithless Serpent will vote for [BW2] Galvatron over Megatron
again for the third year in a row. And count my vote for him this
time, Rob! In fact, count it twice, since you missed it last
year... ;) And never mind anonymity - it may as well be known, no
mortal male can ever compare.
--Raksha
As before, my answer is the same, Minerva. Boy, is she hot!
--Gekisou
O. You cannot possibly comprehend how hot and wild he makes me feel.
I LOVE O, DAMN YOU ALL! I LOVE HIM! Also: I wouldn't have to worry
about calling him someone else's name in bed. "Oh! oh!" "That's
right, baby..."
--Hooper_X
BM Megatron's little repair drone. He's got a sexy voice. More
importantly, he'll do everything I tell him. Yeah, I think a sex
slave is just what I need, these days!
--Bobbi Carothers
[Rattrap starts grinning and winking at the Diagnostic Drone.]
RATTRAP: Hey, pretty good there, D.D.! Sometimes the quiet
types just work, eh? You gonna call her up on it?
DRONE: I refuse to answer that question in a public venue such
as this.
RATTRAP: Hey, I hear ya! Say no more! Heh heh...

PART II: TRANSFORMERS TOYS AND MERCHANDISE
[Curtains part, lights rise.]
DRONE: Welcome back to the 2000 Trannies. We are now here to
present the awards for Transformers toys and merchandise.
RATTRAP: And boy, lemme tell ya, 2000 was one heckuva year for
Transformers -- between the Car Robot stuff from Japan,
the new Dinobots line, an' all those Vehicon toys, you
die-hard fans were wetting yourselves silly last year!
DRONE: What about the Maximal beasts?
RATTRAP: (rolls his eyes) What, like Optimus Primal the deformed
monkey-bot? Supreme-sized Cheetor? NIGHTSCREAM?
DRONE: Point taken.

Super Fire Convoy. Actually, he was fine as just Fire Convoy with his
really cool look and multiple points of articulation but having the
extra ability to transform into Super Fire Cconvoy ala Super Ginrai
makes this toy even sweeter.
--Gekisou
BM Blackarachnia. Two great modes, a great transformation, and the
robot mode is an excellent action figure in her own right. And it has
breasts.
--David Willis
Black Convoy. How can an evil Laser Optimus Prime *not* be the best?
--Vicken
Ultra Jetstorm is the culmination of 15 years of design tweaking and
market research. Either that, or the Devil made it. Something really
extraordinary must have happened to make it so great.
--Thylacine 2000
Night Viper. He had that whole asassin of the night thing going on for
him. If I ever got my ass killed, I hope it'd be done by Night Viper.
--CoolSlider
I was *very* tempted to put one of the BM Jetstorms here, but after
thinking about it, I'm going to have to give it to Mirage. The guy's
a freakin' basic, he's got a wicked nice alt-mode, a nifty-as-hell
robot mode, and his transformation truly stunned me for such a small
toy. Do I even have to mention his roller-hockey mode? :-)
--superspy
To be blunt, the Vehicons rocked overall, and the beasts... did not.

RATTRAP: Woo! A grand slam from Super Fire Convoy! Way ta go!
DRONE: I suspect that Super Fire Convoy will rate very highly
in the other awards as well.
RATTRAP: Suspicion, my tail -- the way that toy's built, it's
nothin' but easy money...

Jetfire. Posable both ways, relatively complex transformation, a good
solid design. Awesome. Ironically not a Takara design.
--Daniel "Devvi" Vink
Topspin (So sue me, I liked him!)
--Prowl Pants
Fortress Maximus. Okay he may be a brick.. but he's one helluva
brick!
--Jasper van den Brink
If they fixed up some of [Ultra Jetstorm's] flaws, people could've
been saying "Jetfire who?"
--Eric W. Schwartz
Optimus Minor-do I even need to explain? :)
--Brian Kilby
Double Punch - the Elite Action Master who is *not* Scorponok!!
Grrr!!!
--Raksha
Hooligan is how the Decepticon Jets/Seekers should've looked like.
Nice jet mode, cool and poseable robot mode.
--Cecilia "Windchaser" Matz
RATTRAP: Man oh man oh man! SFC did it again! He knocked
Laser Rod Optimus Prime down ta THIRD place, an'
almost took the top spot away from Jetfire!
DRONE: Yes, but Jetfire IS the perennial favorite, and
nostalgia is a popular motive.
RATTRAP: Boy, I can't wait ta see next year's results...

Convoy.
RATTRAP: (whistles) Man, he just VAPED everyone else in this
category, didn't he?
[The Diagnostic Drone consults his stylus.]
DRONE: Considering that Galvatron, Big Convoy, and Overlord --
the top three winners from last year -- lost over 100
points to Super Fire Convoy alone, I think the answer is
a resounding "yes".
RATTRAP: Hadda get the last word in, didn't'cha?

Yellow "TFTM" Ultra Magnus or Shining Magnus. I'm mostly not to fond
of convention exclusives but this fella will be highly collectible in
time. I like that in a toy. The thrill of the hunt is important.
--Daniel "Devvi" Vink
G2 Breakdown, he was the first.
--Sharon "Tut" LaBorde
Apelinq. What's not to like this toy. He's a shiny silver monkey!
Plus, you can see your reflection in his shiny monkey breasts.
--Mad-Max-MFP
The Black Megatron from Botcon Japan. Whee!
--Brian Kilby
Windrazor. Not only is BW Silverbolt a great design to re-use, the
character is a reincarnation of Swoop. How cool is that?
--Andrew Crane
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Hasbro should hire Glen
Hallit. Print that!

quote for a truck!
--Jasper van den Brink
"Clutch hitting is the key to an effective offense" - Eject. Mainly
because it's so stupid.
--Dirge
BM Scavenger: "The road to ruin is short when I'm driving." Somehow
this seems to me more of a comment on his own driving skills.
--Matt Nelson
"Let's Get Busy" - Highbeam. It's good, in that Jerry Springer/Night
Stand/Women of Wrestling kind of way.
--Anthony "Tonyfitz" Brucale
Jazz - "Do it with style or don't dother doing it." If you look up
coolness in the dictionary it shows a picture of Jazz.
--SpeedBreaker
Megatron- "Peace through tyranny"- I've always liked this quote since
it reveals Megatron's rarely seen humanitarian philantropist side.

--SILVERBOLT - Mr. Vertigo Himself
I don't hate Nightscream's toy because I hate the character. I hate
the toy because it's a worthless horrible bat mode that's thirty times
too huge to DO anything with, composed of a bleh wingspan with no
actual WINGS to the wings (like a unskinned umbrella), that transforms
(riiiight) into a huge unstandable mutantly-tall freak.
--David Willis
MOL. He does a handstand, and fires his weapon straight back into his
friends. *Real smart design*
--Finback
Checkers/Rally's TM2 Rhinox. Poor Rhinox.
--Echo
Baldigus. Oh goody. JUST what we need. A FOURTH release of a pretty
weak combiner team, alongside all the NEW stuff to further illustrate
just how far we've come all these years. Thanks!
--M Sipher
BM Silverbolt.... and that was a tough call, plenty of compatition out
there for the flame'n red, blue bird-thingy..
--Destron D-69
BM Megatron, or Minitron, whatever you want to call him.
--Junkman
Ox. It's bad enough that he's a repainted Go-Bot, but why is he
painted like a cow? Maybe if Car Robots ever make it to the US,
Gateway could use Ox as a more modern version of the infamous Pepsi
Optimus Prime.
--Joe "TV's Grady" Green
RATTRAP: Cheetor, Silverbolt, Nightscream, Megatron ... hey, ainnit
an INTERESTIN' coinkydink that the top four "winners"
there are also the four most annoying characters from the
last season of Beast Machines?
DRONE: A safe statement to make, since you didn't have a new toy
released last year.

Tripredacus is complicated, but that's only because his combination
involves splaying Ramhorm over all creation.
--Alex "Baron Heinrich Zemo" Amar
Magmatron - he's even worse than Tripredacus!
--Testdrive
The most complicated one *I* own is TM2 Megatron. Took me 45 minutes
to transform that sucker the first time. And that was *with*
instructions! Sheesh! "Ages 5 and up," my afterburner. :)
--Nightwind
Honorable mention to Retrax for inflicting damage on me several times
before I managed to get him TFed.
--Harri Jokinen
That @#*&ing Speedbreaker.... Overly complicated origami puzzle of
doom!
--Trent "Trentulas" Troop
Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia. Probably because I was too busy staring
at her rack to bother reading the instructions
--CoolSlider
I'm sorry, I've *never* had problems transforming a toy. Oh, I see,
you mean complicated in the "deep and meaningful" sense! I'm gonna
say Windcharger, I think he's got a lot going on in that little head
of his.
--Kate Christoffel
RATTRAP: Yeah, like "How come nobody remembers me?", "Why does
Bumblebee get all the luck?", and "How come people keep
confusing me for Windcharger?"

turn gets you the undocumented third mode - a convertible.
--Aaron Hong, Red Dragon AuraThunder Ranger
Oh man, I think I went through three Swoops, and they all broke on me.
--Daniel "Suspsy" Suh
TM2 Sonar. Most breakable because he's IMPOSSIBLE!! That stupid
"push-my-body-through-my-chest" transformation made me want to hurl it
into a stump grinder.
--Matt Nelson
"Snapper Carr"? I don't get it.
--Zobovor
[Go ask Dave Van Domelen.]
I can't transform transmetal Waspinator without something falling off!
Strangely though, being Waspinator it is kind of fitting.
--Paul Frawley
Megatron (G1) - The legs, the LEGS!
--Javi
[And from the "Loose parts" bin:]
Any BW Toy, all those ball and socket joints coming apart and being
lost
--Junkman
Long missiles to the seekers
--Retrax
Hm...not many of my TF's broke as a kid, and then only after a few
years but 75% of my Gobots broke in some manner so can I vote for
Cy-Kill who's legs break after two transformations?
--Master Shrink
RATTRAP: Eh, with a name as lame as "Cy-kill", go ahead!
DRONE: "Rattrap" isn't a very original name, either.
RATTRAP: Hey, it still beats "Cheetor"...

Inferno. Fire-extinguishing firetruck becomes ant with flamethrower.

--Thomas "Aziraphale" Hamann
Jetstorm, because it makes you forget that this is the third use of
the name.
--Alloran
TM2 Prowl, version 1. So neat. Owl with a gumball siren on his
noggin.
--Hooper_X
Mutant Soundwave. Just for a moment, ignore all that crap about
sacrilege and noble Decepticon heritage and all that other crap that
has no business in a discussion of robot toys. Soundwave is a GREAT
name for a bat/alligator transformer. Sound. Wave. Soundwave. It's
certainly more appropriate for the Mutant than it is for a cassette
deck.
--Charles "Griml0ck" Calhoun
Grimlock - BW Grimlock. They are the same character, check the Spec,
thats the only way to reuse a name if you ask me.
--Junkman
Rampage, for _earning_ that moniker.
--Jackpot
Starscream (BW2), because they dicided to shove him up the ass of a
bigger plane!
--Anthony "Tonyfitz" Brucale

It's still Go-Bot Soundwave, Rob. Don't bother with any further use
of this category.
--Hooper_X
Beast Wars Mutant Soundwave. This is just *not* Soundwave, folks.
--Hauky
I'll go for Transmetal 2 Prowl the owl. The pun itself is bad enough,
but its Exorcist-like action feature makes it the perfect competitor
for The Grave-Spinning Award.
--Sky Shadow
Snarl. From dinobot to rodent (yeah, I know...marsupial). That's what
happens when you don't eat your veggies, kids!
--Therese Svedin
Megatron -- stop that at once Hasbro!
--Charlotte Brogden
Thundercracker (Euro Action Master). Pink, purple, lime green, blue...
with those colours the Action Master version of Thundercracker doesn't
need a gun. His mere appearance is enough to give his opponents
epileptic seizures.
--Lars Eriksson
Galvatron. From Emperor Nutbucket to Captain Power-Naps. At least G1
Galvy was entertaining.
--Duo Maxwell
[And from the "Uhm, OKAY..." folder:]
Rodimus Prime. Does that count? It does now. The worst part of it is,
that it spawned all the other Moronus Primes on fanfics and
everywhere.
--Harri Jokinen
Metals Ravage! I mean, c'mon, the toy looks nothing like Tripredicus
Agent!
--Anthony "Tonyfitz" Brucale
Omega Supreem, I mean, smeg! KILL!!
--Seawave
Jipe, the renowned Brazilian minobot. The original Jipe is a great
toy, even if it is one of the weaker minobot molds. However, Estrela
stomped all over Jipe's noble Malignus heritage when they used the
name on a silly Eletrix Transformer. No true fan of Transformers can
allow this sacrilege to persist!
--Charles "Griml0ck" Calhoun
RATTRAP: Is it me, or is that a complete pile of gibberish?
DRONE: It does appear to be gibberish.

neat-ability.
--Hauky
BM Blackarachnia. Great toy, and very poseable. But what puts her
over the edge are her giant middle fingers; you can pose her in a
double-bird salute that would make New Yorkers jealous.
--DarkClaw
Depth Charge!! EAT HOT PIZZAS, PREDACONS!!!
--Crosscut
Soundwave (BM Mutant) - The coolest thing about this guy is that he
converts between the alt-modes of the original BW Optimus Primal (bat)
and Megatron (alligator). How cool is that?
--Testdrive
Megatron (G1) He is a gun!!! COOOOOLL!!!
--Simon Fenton
Oh, man.... It's a toss-up between Jetfire and Ultra Jetstorm. Hmmmm;
Jetfire, Jetstorm; Jetfire, Jetstorm, Jetfire, Jetstorm.... Ehhh, call
me a G1 fan at spark, but I'll give it to Jetfire. But only by a
wire's diameter.
--Outtsyder

--Rapturus
RATTRAP: Naw, I keep my toys hermetically sealed in vacuum-proof
containers, buried ten feet underground in my back yard
so they won't get corroded by the elements and are safe
from nuclear attacks.
DRONE: That sounds a TAD extreme.

Jetfire (orig). Three modes, all realistic looking. No fancy sub

you ask for.
--Shadow Star
Overlord. He's a Duocon... with style!
--Joona I Palaste
TM2 Scourge. Just the way the wing/abdomen setup looks in robotmode
utterly negates his cumbersome legs. And can I mention his badass
staff weapon enough?
--OptimalOptimus
I just wish I knew how to transform any of them! ;-)
--Charlotte Brogden
Omega had so many parts coming off and going on at any one time during
his transform, he should have been the one called "Scramble City".
--DarkClaw
Saberback. His skull folds out of his head! What more do you want?
--Kate Christoffel
This is a toughie, but I gotta give kudos to Night Viper. His tail to
legs transformation was sheer genius.
--Philip N. Zeman
RATTRAP: No kiddin' -- can't remember the last time I saw a
Transformer where you had ta pull his legs outta his BUTT!
DRONE: Actually, I believe that Tantrum, one of the original
Predacons, had a transformation which required you to
pull both of his robot legs out of--
RATTRAP: Alright alright alright! Ferget it! Sheesh, it was just
