Story

Galvatron, Razorclaw, and Ratbat attack Exton-9, a human-manned space station, and take the scientists there as prisoners. However, a group of children escape from the station, and travel to the nearby planet of Andellor. They plan to find a Prism of Power there, which they will then use to rescue their parents.

En route, the children run into Ironhide and Cosmos, and explain the situation. The Autobots follow them to Andellor, where they are challenged by Scorponok, Cyclonus, and Octane. Defeating the Decepticons, the Autobots press on, and soon enter a massive cavern where the Prism is stored. They are stopped by gigantic worm creatures, but manage to destroy them and continue. Finally, the party encounters Grogg, the Prism's guardian, who challenges them with a riddle. The children successfully answer it, and are awarded with the Prism.

The children and the Autobots return to the station, where they quickly defeat the Decepticons and free the scientists.

Notes and Comments

• Except for Ironhide, all of the Transformers are drawn according to their toy designs.
• The humans are referred to as "fleshlings" by both Autobots and Decepticons.
• In this story, Ironhide is shot repeatedly by Galvatron, Scorponok, and Razorclaw, yet takes no damage. He really earns his name...
