Story

As Flint orders "Breaker" to call in the fleet, he suddenly realizes the radio is wrong -- and this isn't Breaker! Yelling for his squad to take the airfield, Flint attacks the imposter, but the fight is short-lived when Soundwave rescues Zartan and captures Flint. The rest of Flint's team find the airfield guarded by Soundwave, but he and Zartan leave to deliver Flint to Cobra Commander. With the airfield abandoned, the Joes take it easily; Beach Head orders the team to secure the airstrip and keep a plane running for backup, then heads for the tower to find a radio.

Elsewhere, Rumble is trying to bury the Autobots and the Joes with his piledriver attacks. In response, Scarlett hops on Bumblebee in his motorcycle mode, then drops a grenade on Rumble as the two leap by overhead. Unfortunately for Grimlock and Roadblock, they're knocked off a cliff, leaving Grimlock and Roadblock dangling over the edge. With encouragement from the human, Grimlock manages to hold on long enough for the Aerialbots to form Superion and rescue them.

A mile away, at the old castle, Stormshadow reveals himself as surviving Snake-Eyes' grenade attack. The two battle once more, and as Snake-Eyes flashes back to the past he and Stormshadow shared, the two fall off the island and into the waters -- where Stormshadow is eaten by an attacking shark...

Elsewhere, in a hidden section of the Terrordome, Starscream and Destro review their own secret schemes. The plan is working perfectly: once Cobra and the Decepticons have battled the Joes and the Autobots to a standstill, Starscream and Destro will step forth, defeat them all, and take over. Their hidden ace is the union of Destro's munitions expertise and Starscream's alien technology: the mindless titan of destruction, Bruticus!

Back at the airfield, Beach Head prepares to radio the fleet to move in when he's suddenly attacked by Frenzy, leaving Jaye to watch in horror as the tower goes up in electrical sparks. Uncertain if Beach Head managed to call the fleet, she decides to fly their plane and summon the fleet herself -- unaware that the Cobra pilot Wild Weasel is watching from above...
