Story
While Cobra Commander and Megatron are arguing in the streets of Millville, they are unaware that the G.I. Joe reconnaissance team is watching them from the city drainage system. The Joes are suddenly ambushed by a squad of Cobra Eels, and a fight breaks out. Megatron tells Cobra Commander about the fight, but refuses to help capture the Joes, as it was not part of their deal.
Spying outside the hospital, the G.I. Joe Ninja force is attacked by a group of Cobra Night-Creepers. The Joe ninjas quickly defeat most of them; while Snake-Eyes remains behind to fight the Night-Creeper Leader, the other ninjas head off to support the recon team.
Inside the hospital, Scarlett insists to Dr. Biggles-Jones that she is not a double-agent. Biggles-Jones ignores her, saying that she knows the truth, and begins to share her own secret with Scarlett. From the next room, Dr. Mindbender eavesdrops on their conversation, and orders the Cobra ninjas Slice and Dice to wait nearby...

It's the new Ronco Protoplasm Stripper!™
While Cobra Commander sends more troops into the sewers, Megatron returns from the Ark with a tube full of blades; he has been promised Dr. Biggles-Jones as part of the deal, and plans to use the device to core her brain and nervous system for freezing and transport to Cybertron. In the sewers, the Joe reconnaissance team are joined by the Ninja Force, and together they fight through Cobra's ranks.
As Dr. Biggles-Jones finishes her revelations to Scarlett, she is suddenly grabbed by Megatron, who is eager to close the deal and leave Earth already. Slice and Dice break into the room to capture Scarlett, but she ambushes them and leaves the hospital, chasing after Megatron.
The Joes reconvene outside of Millville, where General Hawk says they must pull out -- another government agency has finally revealed that they have their own double-agent planted in Cobra for a sting operation, and the Joe's presence is endangering it. The ninjas want to go back for Snake-Eyes, and Hawk authorizes Spirit and Storm Shadow to do so.
Back at the hospital, Snake-Eyes defeats the Night-Creeper Leader, then enters Scarlett's room to try and rescue her. He meets Slice and Dice instead, and quickly beats them. Before he can leave, however, he is cornered by a squad of Cobra troopers.
On the streets of Millville, Megatron is about to have Dr. Biggles-Jones cored when he is confronted by Scarlett...
Notes and Comments
- When this issue was printed, the name of the comic was temporarily changed to (G.I. Joe Starring) Snake-Eyes and Ninja Force.
- In my opinion, this issue is where the G.I. Joe/Transformers: Generation 2 crossover stepped into la-la land. The idea of Megatron wanting to core Dr. Biggles-Jones' nervous system is a silly idea, straight out of a bad '50s science-fiction movie. It certainly doesn't help any that his contraption for the job looks like a ludicrous reject from the cuisinart factory...
- Presumably, Dr. Biggles-Jones is the double-agent planted by the other (unnamed) goverment agency. The name of that agency is never revealed, nor is the purpose of her operation.
