2004 - Transformers: Beast Wars Return

Transformers: Beast Wars Return is the name for the Japanese release of the North American Beast Machines television series. It was broadcast in Japan in 2004 on a special Takara subscription television service, and the toys were available exclusively from Toys 'R Us.

As with Beast Machines, the show chronicled the attempts by Convoy (Optimus Primal) and his small band of heroes to usurp the total conquest of Seibertron from Megatron. Initially, Cheetas (Cheetor), Rattor (Rattrap), and Black Widow (Blackarachnia) are the only individuals against Megatron's legions of mindless warriors, led by Jetstorm, Tankor, and DoubleChanger (Thrust).
